Why we embroider toques

A toque is knitwear: stitches that stretch every time you put it on. A printed transfer needs a smooth surface and eventually cracks on a knit. Embroidery thread, on the other hand, anchors into the stitches and moves with the stretch. That’s why all our toques are embroidered, and why embroidery is included in the price.

For a great result, keep your logo simple: bold shapes and letters that aren’t too thin. Very small text gets lost in the texture of the knit. Not sure your logo will work? Send it over, we’ll tell you before production, and nothing is embroidered without your approval.

How much does a custom embroidered toque cost?
An embroidered toque with your logo costs $20, embroidery included, for all three styles. A second logo, on the back, adds $10 per toque. The embroidery matrix, $30 per logo, is charged only once and it’s free from 5 items embroidered with that logo.
Is there a minimum order for toques?
No, none. A single toque for you, or two hundred for your company. The volume discount starts at 10% from 10 pieces and goes up to 35% from 99. Toques, crewnecks and jackets in the same order count together.
Can a toque be printed instead of embroidered?
No, our toques are embroidered only. The knit stretches every time you put the toque on: a printed transfer eventually cracks, while embroidery thread anchors into the stitches. That’s why embroidery is included in the price.
Which toque should I choose for a team?
The cuffed toque, most of the time: 30 colours, one size fits all, and the logo embroidered on the cuff stays nice and straight at forehead height. The contrast-stripe toque gives a two-tone club look, and the shorter cuffless toque has a more urban style.
How long does it take to get embroidered toques before Christmas?
Allow about 10 business days before shipping; the estimated date is shown on each product page. For a holiday gift, order by early December at the latest, and in November for a large company order.
Where does the logo go on a toque?
On the front, at forehead height: on the cuff for the cuffed toque. That’s the area included in the price. You can add a second logo on the back, for example the team name or a website, for $10 more per toque.
